Roebuck (kenmore) ice maker failure ~ 4 5 yrs old Lawrence C. • Saratoga Springs , NY • June 14, 2015
Ice sensing lever (keyed onto mtr shaft) found down and would not budge. Also, test button (hidden beneath mtr) only 'beeped' when pushed. The 10 pin connector's 'clip' is also hidden against roof of freezer - mine broke but connection still seems secure. New unit was exact fit - test button (now) cycles thru one cycle of rotation and H2O fill with no beeps.... 18 hrs later, bin is half full....ice for the summer :)
Remove freezer door (front) so you can lay down and look up. Cold plastic...

It is essential for circulating air throughout the refrigerator and freezer compartments, ensuring that the temperature is evenly distributed and maintained at the set levels. This motor powers the fan that helps to cool the evaporator coils and dissipate heat, which is vital for the appliance's cooling efficiency.
Symptoms of a failing Fan Motor include:
- The refrigerator not cooling adequately
- Unusual noises coming from the refrigerator, such as humming or buzzing
- Ice buildup in the freezer compartment due to poor air circulation
- The refrigerator cycling on and off more frequently
Causes of a bad fan motor can include wear and tear over time, obstructions in the fan blades, or electrical issues such as faulty wiring or a malfunctioning capacitor.
This OEM LG part is also compatible with Sears/Kenmore.

Your web site sent me the sensor. I watched the repair video that was excellent saved at least two hundred or more dollars. When I called Sears all they said was LG would not tell them what the error code was and they would send a repairman which would be $99 to show up plus parts and labor. Will always use your service!

Refridgerator stopped cooling Gary S. • Madison , WI • April 13, 2015
Replaced the Thermistor Assembly and also picked up Overload Protection circuit per the comments posted by the "experts" on the web site. Both parts cheap enough. I ordered parts at 3:30 in the afternoon and they showed up the next morning from half way across the country. Outstanding service. It also fixed the 9 year old refrigerator. Replacing the parts took about a half hour most of which was moving the unit from the wall and removing the panel to get at the parts.
