On Thursday I tried to set up appointment for Sears technician. The earliest possible was Tuesday (5 days later). It seemed strange that everything would stop working, including the lights. Ordered replacement glass the same day I broke the shelf and I received it within 3 days. All I had to do was drop the glass into the frame in the fridge, so no repair time at all. The hardest part was cleaning up all that glass. Just a note of caution to others doing this. Tempered glass does not just break, it sort of "explodes."
