This is a small synchronous motor that drives the turntable inside the microwave, slowly rotating the glass tray to ensure even heating of food. It mounts beneath the microwave floor and connects to the turntable coupler. Replace this motor if the turntable has stopped spinning or rotates intermittently while the microwave is running.
Turned the microwave on its back. Took a hammer and screwdriver to punch out the small access door for the motor, unscrewed two screws holding the motor and unplugged the the wiring harness. Attached the new motor with the two screws and plugged the wiring harness back on. Finally, attach the access door with the screw. Careful placement of new screws into the inside of the outer door that now hold the frame assembly to the door secured the frame assembly to the outer door. All of the other parts I bought and replaced were a waste of money. I figured since I had them I might as well install them anyways. Take the top vent off by two screws & then one screw on the side & lifted her up and I could see the 3 switches I need to repair. Then unscrewed the housin to the 3 switches. Took the housin out , put the 3 switches in the new housing & put her in & plug them in . And plug the Nucor and she works like new.
