This water tank assembly collects condensation produced during the drying cycle in a ventless or condenser dryer. It is a removable reservoir that must be emptied periodically to allow the dryer to continue operating. Replace this tank if it is cracked, leaking, or if the dryer displays a full tank error even after emptying.

This duct assembly channels exhaust from the appliance to the home vent, restoring proper airflow and helping reduce lint and moisture buildup. It's a direct-fit replacement for the original ducting on compatible LG units. What it does:
Wire harness for dryers. Connects electrical components inside the cabinet. Replace if wires are frayed, damaged, or connectors are broken or melted.
This dryer vent hose connects your dryer to the exhaust vent. Replace if cracked, torn, kinked, or showing wear that restricts airflow and lint removal.
Dryer door won't stay closed or pops open during cycle? This latch hook secures the door panel to prevent rattling and interruptions. Easy 10-minute fix.
This hinge bracket supports the dryer door and secures it to the dryer cabinet, allowing the door to pivot open and closed. It is a structural mounting piece that bears the weight and stress of repeated door use. Replace this bracket if the dryer door is loose, misaligned, sagging, or if the bracket is cracked or bent.
Replacement screw for securing dryer panels and internal components. Needed when original screws are stripped, missing, or damaged during repairs or maintenance.
Top plate assembly for dryers. Mounts on the upper cabinet to provide structural support. Replace if cracked, broken, or worn to restore appearance.
Metal bracket that secures the hinge to your dryer door or cabinet. Replace if bent, cracked, or broken to restore proper door alignment and support.
Safety cover cap for dryers and laundry centers. Protects internal components and covers exposed areas. Replace if cracked, broken, or missing.
Replaces cracked or dented dryer door trim to restore appearance and ensure proper door closure. Install when outer frame is damaged or warped. Confirm fit.
The Belt is an OEM replacement part for LG dryers that is responsible for connecting the motor to the drum to allow it to tumble. Over time, dryer belts can stretch, wear out, or even break, leading to a drum that won't turn and clothes that don't dry properly.
Symptoms of a bad Dryer Belt include:
Causes of failure can include regular wear and tear from the dryer's operation, overloading the dryer beyond its capacity, which puts extra strain on the belt, or a misalignment that causes uneven wear. A damaged belt can prevent your dryer from functioning correctly, leading to inefficiency in drying clothes and potential motor damage due to unnecessary strain.
This OEM LG part can also be used on Kenmore/Sears appliances.
I disassembled/reassembled the dryer according to the ApplianceParts Youtube video. With my limited electrical knowledge (just enough to be dangerous) I initially figured it was a problem with the heating unit, sensor(s), or the control board. After diagnosing the problem (bad thermistor), I had to order the parts and was able to repair and reassemble the dryer several days later. After removing the drum, I cleaned all the dust etc. out of the inside (it gets dirty in there!) and inspected,... Read more

The Dryer Thermistor is an OEM part for LG dryers, designed to monitor and help regulate the temperature within the dryer by providing feedback to the control board about the temperature inside the drum. This allows the dryer to adjust its heat settings accordingly, preventing overheating and ensuring clothes are dried evenly and safely.
Symptoms of a bad Dryer Thermistor include:
Causes of a bad Dryer Thermistor can include a buildup of lint and debris affecting its ability to accurately sense temperature, wear and tear over time, or electrical issues within the dryer's circuitry.
