After some research I choose to replace the Controller Assembly. This resides in the freezer and is attached to the evaporator. First I had to take out the ice maker (easy 3 screws) next I had to remove the back panel on the freezer. This was not too difficult, there is a small panel in the back with a single screw holding it in place. Once that was removed I was able to pry the back panel off. I could kick myself for waiting so long to order these parts. Arrived in two days and fixed in about 10 minutes! Unscrew reflector and unplug light-socket assembly. Attach light-socket assembly to the reflector then screw onto light housing cover. Pop into place, screw in 2 screws and then pop-in light lens. Super simple.
