After some research I choose to replace the Controller Assembly. This resides in the freezer and is attached to the evaporator. First I had to take out the ice maker (easy 3 screws) next I had to remove the back panel on the freezer. This was not too difficult, there is a small panel in the back with a single screw holding it in place. Once that was removed I was able to pry the back panel off. Refrigerator section was becoming too cold, had repair tech come who stated door between freezer section and refrigerator was not closing and stated it needed a new computer board which could not be installed for a week. Ordered the part, had it in two days. Very efficient company and great customer service. Highly recommend. Installation was very easy. I could kick myself for waiting so long to order these parts. Arrived in two days and fixed in about 10 minutes! Unscrew reflector and unplug light-socket assembly. Attach light-socket assembly to the reflector then screw onto light housing cover. Pop into place, screw in 2 screws and then pop-in light lens. Super simple. Read more
