Lg refridgerator error code f1 Bill L. • Cape Coral , FL • June 30, 2015
Error code F1 is related to the ice maker not working on LG refrigerators. After unsuccessfully trying to get a repair person to come fix it, I looked on the web, found that this was a common problem and found the repair part needed from Appliance Parts Pro.
I ordered the part on Saturday morning and was surprised when it arrived Sunday morning (6.95 FedEx). It took about 20 minutes to replace this part - basically undo 3 screws and unplug the old part. The ice maker is working like a...

LG french door refrigerator lights failed Phil M. • Santa Cruz , CA • November 06, 2019
So I read a number of the earlier posts regarding the required repairs and went forward with all those repairs. In short, I replaced the wiring harness, door switches, and bulbs. The problem still persisted so I went ahead and replaced the control board. That did the trick. So for my unit, LG LFX25960ST replacing all those components were required. All repairs were easy and the videos and posts are all helpful.

The ice maker was not making ice but water was being dispensed by the water dispenser John V. • Belfair , WA • August 08, 2014
Simple, did some research via "Google". Typed in the model and make of the unit, typed in the problem and the search results led me to a "youtube" video of what my problem could be.
Additional searches confirmed my suspicions, I ordered the part which arrived a few day's later, installed it and now we are making ice.
The biggest part of the job was cleaning years of stuff behind the fridge. Almost found enough change to pay for the part.

Broken ice maker & cracked meat drawer Mary Catherine B. • Hermosa Beach , CA • May 07, 2017
Both fixes were easy. The only snag was the first shipment there was virtually no packing material and the ice-maker banged around in the box enough to break itself and the new drawer. I called customer service immediately. A lovely gentlemen assisted me in replacing both items and this time it arrived with plenty of packing material. The drawer fit better than the original and within 1 hour we had ice from the new ice-maker. Most likely will be contacting them again soon, as the latch on...
