Replaced the cheap plastic lever supporter with another LG OEM cheap plastic lever supporter. I should have bought two as I can see this problem happening again. Job was a simple fix and only required a Phillips head screwdriver. I took off the front control panel with a Phillips screwdriver. I used a mirror to locate some of the screws under the panel. Being handy and common sense helped a lot.
