After receiving the part, I found I had to dismantle the left side of the handle in order to fix the right side that was broken.
When I took the left side of the handle off I found the plastic piece that broke on the right side was about to break on the left side also.
Having all the details and in advance of another broken handle, I ordered the part, just to have when it breaks.

The wiring harness with the 220v leads is quite large, so most of the time involved carefully removing it and documenting each connection to aid in installing the new one. The specific lead that failed must have had a lose connection, as the plastic coated socket on the end was completely gone, and about an inch of the wire leading to it was vaporized as well. I had to use fine grit sand paper to remove slag from the contact on the broiler element, and some household cleaner to remove the soot...
