Ice maker was not ejecting cubes. Would make ice but never flip completely over to spill them into the tray. Lorenzo Z. • Rutherfordton , NC • March 12, 2014
Replaced the entire ice making unit. It was a very simple project. The original ice maker is held in place by two screws at the front and some tabs in the back. Removing the screws allowed the unit to come free from the tabs and drop down. We simply released the wiring clip, removed the broken unit and reversed the process. The repair took about ten minutes and is something I have never done before. I am guessing we saved over $100 by ordering from AppliancePartsPros.com and doing the job...

This is a protective relay that prevents your refrigerator compressor from electrical damage due to power surges or overload conditions. It automatically shuts off power to the compressor when dangerous electrical conditions are detected. Replace it when your refrigerator stops cooling, the compressor won't start, or you hear clicking sounds but the compressor doesn't run.

Refrigerator was not cooling Chris B. • Harpers Ferry , WV • October 17, 2016
I noticed the temperature creeping up on my Samsung refrigerator and freezer.
It also was not making the normal sound when a compressor kicks in. Just a clicking sound along with the fan was audible.
Normally when it would get like this, I would unplug the power, let sit for 10-15 minutes, plug back in and be okay. This time, a full power reset didn't work. Every time, there was just clicking.

The appliance started warming up even thought the displays showed correct temps John A. • Star Valley Ranch , WY • June 08, 2015
Changed all sensors in the freezer and the fridge along with a new board. My guess in what the real issue was, ended up being related to the fridges "Thermal Fuse", since I found melted insulated tape on the defrosting coil. I first changed out the board and the sensors and it still failed to function. I then changed out the Thermal Fuses and the Start Relay along with the ice makers sensor. Basically a trial and error project, but finalizing that it was the Thermal Fuses actually fixing...
