Removed refrigerator panel, disconnected light and fan power. Removed fan assembly and replaced motor, grommets and fan attachment spring. Unit had adhesive on spring to help hold the spring. Chatted with customer service and clarified that spring and fan would easily pull off motor shaft. Adhesive probably was extra measure used during original build of the fridge.
Noise was due to fan rubbing on housing. New fan position set to avoid any rubbing.

Ordered the pieces from here. Downloaded the user manual. I never work on appliances but I couldn't justify the $200 a service tech would have charged to fix a $35 part. Followed the manual and removed the door. Replaced the broken plastic pieces. BE VERY CAREFUL not to strip the screws. I did and that's another story. Very easy to fix. You will need a second person to help guide the door back onto the frame.

Easy repair. Remove drawer. Take cover off wire connection on back of drawer front. Disconnect wire terminal. Remove 4 bolts holding drawer front to both slide assemblies ( 10 mm socket ) and set aside. Remove small sheet metal screw at top front of both slides. Disconnect wire terminal from wall. Initially called repair man and he checked it out , took about half of the freezer insides out to decide the fan was bad. Then he informed me that he did not have part and was going to be on vacation for a week. So I finished tearing apart the freezer to get to part removing the ice maker and rear panel, removed fan and ordered new parts, parts arrived as said and I put back together.
