Part# DA97-12683D (AP5651833) Vertical Hinged Section received from AppliancePartsPros was listed as the correct replacement part for Samsung Refrigerator Model #RF266AERS/XAA, however it is actually incompatible with that model. The part I received from AppliancePartsPros was the correct part number for the order, but the 3-wire plastic connector didn't fit. Samsung may have changed the design and still listed the part as compatible, however the 3-wire connector didn't snap in place correctly...

So I went on line, check out a few sites that weren't that much help and ended up here. A couple other comments really helped . I ordered the assembly and received it in a few days. It was easy to repair. The assembly has tabs all the way around it. I took a scraper/ putty knife and put tape on it so I wouldn't scratch the finish of the fridge. Pry and pop the old assembly off, working your way around the unit. The new one slips over the water spout and snaps into place.Easy!
