Ordered the pieces from here. Downloaded the user manual. I never work on appliances but I couldn't justify the $200 a service tech would have charged to fix a $35 part. Followed the manual and removed the door. Replaced the broken plastic pieces. BE VERY CAREFUL not to strip the screws. I did and that's another story. Very easy to fix. You will need a second person to help guide the door back onto the frame. Read more

I thought that I needed to repair the water supply. But it all looked OK. I had turned the power off for a few minutes hoping to clear any false info from the numerous power outages. And with hours of research, I found some info about the door switch on top of the freezer. It suggested placing a magnet above the switch to silence the noise. This did the trick. Shortly after I heard the ice maker filling. I tested the water feed, and it was working. I then ordered a new switch and replaced it.... Read more

Ordered parts to reattach the handle online. I ordered an array of parts totaling $60, including 2 nylon pins that may have been right and left. Only one worked so hopefully that was the reason - not clear on the parts list. End caps are plastic and broken tabs trying to put them on so they are glued in place. Bolt also had to be replaced and was already taped with Teflon, presumably from the original Samsung install, and might have been the reason for the handle failure. Anyway, all is well... Read more

Order and received hinges and the parts for the doors that were lost. After plugging it in the open door chimes started and would not stop. I call appliance Parts customer service and tech Dept. They were very patient and helpful with my ordering the parts I needed and tried to get the chimes to stop. The People I talked to were very helpful and patient in trying to fix this problem.
