This is a micro switch used in the microwave door interlock system. It detects whether the door is properly closed and signals the control board to allow or prevent microwave operation. Replace this switch if the microwave won't start, runs with the door open, or if the door latch clicks but the unit doesn't respond.

No power to unit Kurt F. • Greenville , DE • November 05, 2019
One of the three-door switches had failed. In my case, 00631512 or ref 25217585 on the left front of the unit. The green button no longer "clicked". When that switch fails, one of the ceramic fuses located under the top cover at the far back of the unit is blown. Used Volt-Ohm meter to determine which fuse. Happy to have also ordered a replacement door switch Support, just in case, as I was unable to remove the failed switch from the support without breaking a key brittle plastic tab....

Thermador oven inner glass panel cracked Michael P. • Kenilworth , IL • September 28, 2015
Removing the oven door, carefully taking it apart to remove the broken panel, cleaning everything, putting in the new glass panel and reassambling took me about an hour. To get to the glass panel takes unscrewing about 20 screws. Not too difficult to do. Assembly is easier than disassembly.

This meat probe sensor is a temperature-sensing device that inserts into food while it cooks in the oven, allowing the oven to monitor the internal temperature and automatically stop cooking when the target temperature is reached. It connects to a jack inside the oven cavity via a heat-resistant cable. Replace this probe if your oven no longer reads the food temperature accurately, displays a probe error code, or if the cable or tip is visibly damaged.

A replacement temperature sensor (thermistor) that monitors internal temperatures and sends readings to the appliance control board. Restores accurate temperature sensing to help cycles and temperature regulation run correctly. What it does:
- Measures internal temperature and relays readings to the control board so the appliance can adjust heating/cooling cycles.
- Helps ensure proper defrost or cycle timing by providing accurate temperature feedback.
- Common symptoms of a failing sensor: inconsistent temperatures, frequent or short cycling, or temperature-related performance issues.
- Works as a direct replacement for a worn or failed sensor to restore normal temperature monitoring.
What's included: One temperature sensor (part number 00425301). Install notes:
- Disconnect power to the appliance before starting any repair to avoid shock or damage.
- Handle the sensor and wiring gently; avoid kinking or pulling the lead and ensure the connector seats fully.
- Installation typically requires access behind panels or inside the compartment—keep fasteners organized and follow the service manual.

I replaced the temperature probe and the control board. You have to remove the oven from the wall to access the rear panels...then remove the probe mounting screws from inside the oven and pull the wire through the inside of the oven.

Broil element had gone bad due to age and use Sherwood O. • Orange , CA • August 22, 2015
This turned out to be a very complicated repair ONLY because the wires that attached to the very far end of the broil element came detached inside and behind the wall of the oven. It is one step this side of impossible to fish the wires out and reconnect them to the new element.
This would be a very easy job PROVIDED that you do not allow the two wires that connect to the element to become detached inside the rear oven wall.

F64 error code thermador double wall oven m# c272bw/01 Kevin H. • Casper , WY • December 23, 2014
The code denotes a bad blower or air switch sensor. On this oven however, the air switch is actually a HALL Sensor and is part of the lower oven cooling fan assembly. Older ovens have a separate air switch. We removed the oven, replaced the blower assembly and the unit is good as new!!! Customer is Happy!!

This is a high voltage capacitor used in the microwave's magnetron circuit to store and release electrical energy needed to power the magnetron tube. It works together with the diode and transformer to generate the high voltage required for microwave cooking. Replace this capacitor if the microwave runs but does not heat food, makes a loud buzzing or humming noise, or if diagnostic testing shows the capacitor has failed. Warning - capacitors can retain a lethal charge even when the appliance is unplugged, so discharge it safely before handling.
