Pruner Ignition Controls

An ignition module works in conjunction with the flywheel to create an electric current. It sends the voltage to the spark plug at a precise time to ignite the fuel and air mixture in the cylinder. An ignition module does not have moving components, but exposure to heat can cause damage over time. There are several warning signs that the ignition module has failed. The most common ignition module related problem is engine sputtering. If the damage is severe, it may cause total engine start failure. This is an original Husqvarna ignition module replacement. This part is compatible with string trimmers, pole pruners, hedge trimmers, and leaf blowers from Craftsman, Poulan Pro, Weed Eater, and Poulan. It is sold individually. Other components are not included in this ignition module replacement.

This is a genuine replacement ignition module for select Husqvarna lawn and garden equipment engines. The ignition module, also known as the armature-magneto, creates high voltage power in pulses, which then passes on to the spark plugs and allows them to create the spark to fire the engine. This part consists of the ignition coil and the spark plug boot, which is made with durable rubber and insulated metal. When the various components fail, the engine may not get the spark that it needs to turn over because the spark plug is not getting the power. A replacement will get the equipment running again. This OEM replacement part is designed for use on gas-powered blowers and string trimmers, including select models from Husqvarna, Poulan, Weed Eater, and Jonsered. The ignition module comes as a complete part and includes the boot assembly and coil, so no additional purchases will be required. Hardware is not included, however, and will need to be bought separately when it is needed. This unit is sold individually.
