Two choices, the control module or the float valve: is there any way of checking them. The float valve seems to be very difficult to get to. Does it have a high probability of failing or getting "gummed-up"?

Wl May 06, 2011 for Model Number bosch dishwasher shu5308uc Dishwaser continues to run in wash cycle. Cycles down to 1 minute and will not shut down. If you try to reset the dishwasher it continues in same rinse cycle.
1 Answer Hello WL. You will need to look and see if there is water in the base of the machine. If so, you will need to dry the water out of the bottom of the base and look for leaks with the dishwasher running. Joe May 05, 2011 I don't know where to find the model number. My machine is about 10-12 years old. My issue is that when I start it the window shows 2H then the machine runs forever(about 3-4 hrs}. It shows 2H on all cycles except rinse and hold, which works normally. Is this a module problem and how can I make sure i get the right one? TY, Joe.
