Richard B. August 18, 2011 for Model Number SHE44C06UC/22 FD8604 03119 Thanks for response. Control board number is 676960 as indicated on receipt. Having the wrong control module actually makes sense.
1 Answer Hello Richard. Based on the numbers you provided, it seems the correct control module is 00676960. If they installed the 676960, then it should be the correct module. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the new module may be bad. Hope this helps. Read More...
Richard B. August 16, 2011 for Model Number Bosch SHE44C Just had control module replaced by authorized dealer. Quick wash starts at 113 and ends at 72. Used to start at 39 and end at 0. Suds, no water in bottom at end and hot, but not as hot when door is opened at completion of cycle. Is there a way to "reset" control module, like rebooting computer? Any other thoughts? All service items in manual have been tended to (filters) etc.
1 Answer Hello Richard. There is no reset on the control module. You will need to check and make sure the correct module was ordered for the unit. If you can provide the full model number for the unit, and the part number he installed, we will check and make sure it is the correct one. Hope this helps. http://www.appliancepartspros.com/modelnumber_locator.aspx Read More...
Jerry A. August 10, 2011 for Model Number SHU5316 UC/11 I got a SHU 5316 Aug. 2000. It has stopped washing. I get the info shown when I press start. Open, Close Door, Press Start Program select: Cycle 1st Time 2nd Time Rinse & Hold 9 44 4 Del/Econco 2HR 82 43 Regular Wash (Not working for years) Scrub Wash 2HR 87 49 Power Scrub 2HR 87 49 The “2HR” shone is a delay time not a wash time. It fills with water, opens the soap compartment, heats and drains. The circulation motor appears to not be working. I do faintly hear what sounds like a timer motor running.
1 Answer Hello Jerry. It sounds like the control module is bad. Test and see if there is power going to the circulation motor. If not, replace the control module 00266746. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Pam July 16, 2011 for Model Number SHU5316UC/U12 My Bosch dishwasher showed 2H when I started it; it usually shows 74 and counts down. It ran for longer than the usual time frame. The timer went down to 1 and never shut off; seems to have been rinsing forever! Is it the control module that has gone haywire? Thank you.
1 Answer Hi Pam. This means the control module has timed out due to an unidentified heating problem. All heating related parts must be checked until the problem is found. If the dishwasher has not stopped washing the module is OK. If the dishwasher has stopped then it is timed -out. The N.T.C. sensor reads 55k ohms @72 degrees. The heater reads 11 ohms. the control module heater relay is working? The circulation pump reads 10 ohms. The flow switch reads .4 ohms. The high limit reads .3 ohms. The wiring harness is OK? You may however prove to get an authorized service technician to completely check all components. Thank you. Read More...
Jan July 09, 2011 for Model Number SHU5315UC/U11 loaded and closed the dishwasher and the plastic cover on the handle popped off. Now the dishwasher won't turn on at all. The part that popped off looks completely cosmetic and the door still latches closed. It did not trip the circuit breaker and is getting power. We tried to override the latch mechanism by triggering it to start with a screwdriver, but nothing. Does the control panel need replacing? Is that something we can do easily? Thanks! Thanks!
1 Answer Hi Jan. If your door handle popped off, You will need lock assembly part # 00419827. You will need to use your old microswitches and put them into place in this new assembly. You can try to attempt this repair, but a certified technician may be helpful as this model has challenges getting to the part. Thank - you. Read More...
Ixlr8 July 01, 2011 for Model Number SHI 4306uc/U06 Hi-- My dishwasher only works on the SCRUB cycle. The other cycles don't work. The control module cover had three broken button actuator levers, and I replaced it today. Same problem persists. Has the control module failed? Thanks, IXLR8
1 Answer Hello IXLR8. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the module 00266746 is bad and will need to be replaced. Make sure the wires are good and tight. If so, replace the module. Hope this helps. Read More...
Henryk O June 27, 2011 for Model Number SHU6805UC/U12 Dishwasher does not count down, cycles do not get engaged. Makes buzzing noise when turned on (as if the pump starts up - but never shuts down as the clock stays on at the same number). If left on the counter would stay on at same number of minutes as long as the power is on. I posted a question before, long time ago, and did not hear back from you (you write that the answer is usually posted within minutes), so I posted the question again for the first one may have gotten lost. thanks henryk
1 Answer HenryK, You need to check and make sure the water supply(usually under the kitchen sink) is open and water is supplied to the water inlet/fill valve 00425458 . Then check or replace the fill valve if the opening is clogged with debris. If the water inlet valve is clogged or inoperative, the component, can "buzz", and if the tub does not fill with water, the control will not advance. Thanks and Good Luck. Read More...
Henry O. June 26, 2011 for Model Number SHU6805UC/U12 When turned on, the machine starts "working" (buzzing), the water does not fill in, and the clock does not change. Stays at the same number without counting down, as if it gets stuck on the initial start cycle and does not move on.
1 Answer Henry, Are you sure there is water supplied to the dishwasher ? since the fill cycle is the first thing to occurr, when the dishwasher is "started", if there is no water from the shut off, or the fill valve assembly00425458 is clogged or has an interior failure the unit won't fill(usually has a buzz noise) and the control advance. Good Luck. Read More...

Gerald June 12, 2011 for Model Number SHU5302UC/U06 FD7711 When we turn on the dishwasher, the cycle countdown meter begins to flash a series of different times and the washing never starts. Also, the selection of different cycles does not respond and changes to different modes than the one that is pressed, i.e. press on regular wash and the light for power scrub plus lights up.
1 Answer Hello Gerald! You will need to remove the ribbon cable from the control board and clean it. If the buttons are still non responsive to touch, you will need to replace the control panel. The part number is 00266746. Thanks! Read More...
