Jeremy January 31, 2015 for Model Number SHX2AR55UC/10 Cycle goes from active to clean after about 5 minutes, leaving water in the bottom. I pulled off the drain tube and cleaned out the impeller blades, which weren't really that dirty. Cycled it through again with the same problem. Some message board lists this problem as a common one requiring a new control board under the tub. Is that correct? And what's the part?
1 Answer Jeremy, Yes, the most likely cause for the issue with unit would be the control unit which is part number 00705047. Read More...
Jane January 15, 2015 for Model Number Bosch SHX33A05UC / 40 The dishwasher takes > 4 hours to finish a regular cycle. Dishes are not as dry as they used to be. The 'sterilized' light does not come on but the 'clean' one does. What is wrong with the machine? What part / parts do I need to buy to fix it? Who is a good person / company that can fix the machine - I am not very handy. I don't want to spend more than I have to as I am going through financial stress currently. Thank you.
1 Answer Jane, This issue sounds like it would be caused by a heating circuit issue. If the water is not getting hot enough then the unit will not dry properly and will take longer to wash. Check to make sure that the incoming water temperature is hot enough. Check to make sure that the thermostats and heater check ok and if they do not then they need to be replaced. Read More...
Frank M December 03, 2014 for Model Number SHX3AR75UC Why does the dishwasher start a cycle pump water make a spray sound and then go to clean? There is cold water in the tub at the end. Bosch customer service told me to replace the control panel, which I did. Still have the same problem.
1 Answer Frank, If the dishwasher is filling with water and then goes to the spray and then to clean in a rapid time then the most likely cause would be a faulty control unit on the unit. The part number for the control unit would be 00489004. Read More...
1 Answer Hello Chris. Check the drain pump and see if it is clogged on the unit. Also, check the drain hose on the unit. Read More...
James T. September 18, 2014 for Model Number shx33a05uc/14 Ser # FD8309 01300 The control unit listed for the SHX33A05UC/14 (FD8211) is 48-9004. Will this part (48-9004) work on my dishwasher with serial number FD8309? Is there a difference in the serial numbers? The wiring going to the control unit has obviously been hot enough for some slight melting. Is this reason to worry about damaging the new module? Thanx James
1 Answer Hello James, 00489004 is the correct control for your unit. There is no difference on this units' serial number. I would test from each connection to ground from the connectors that fasten to the control, (with the power off), to make sure nothing is shorted to ground since this could damage the new control. Scott April 24, 2014 for Model Number SHE3ar52uc/07 Is going to clean status after a couple minutes into cycle start. Now it will not inject water into basin. Is this the Control board issue or a power module issue. Only used for 20 months, out of warranty of course. Any help appreciated.
1 Answer Scott, The flood switch is activated and trying to pump water out. You will want to check the base of the unit for water and for a leak. Read More...
Kevin March 13, 2014 for Model Number SHX3AR75UC Bosch Ascenta Dishwasher We had a power surge during a recent ice storm and now the unit will not turn on. I'm assuming I need to replace the control board. Does that sound correct?
1 Answer Hello Kevin. If there is power to the board, and it does not work, you will need to replace the control board on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...

Jmell March 07, 2014 for Model Number Bosch Dishwasher SHU43C02UC/14 (FD8304) The dishwasher was running (I wasn't there at the time) and water came out of the basin onto the floor. My wife opened the door, thinking it would stop the flow. I arrived a few minutes later and there was still some water flow into the dishwasher. I turned off the supply water valve, and cleaned up the swamp. I pulled out the washer several days later, and connected the water and power. I closed the door, pushed the run button, and absolutely nothing. No lights or response from the dishwasher. Any ideas? Thanks.
1 Answer Hello Jmell. You need to replace the valve for the water issue. As for the power issue, check and make sure it didn't trip the breaker when the dishwasher leaked out the water. If there is power tot he unit and to the board and it does not work, replace the board on the unit. Read More...
