Peter October 16, 2017 for Model Number SHX3AR55UC/08 Recently our SHX3AR55UC/08 dishwasher has been leaving 1-2 liters of water in the bottom of the tub. This always drains out when you start the dishwasher as it seems to have a pre-start drain cycle. The dishes are still coming out clean but are not always dry. At times long after it has finished we can hear it start to drain for a second or two, or hear other clicking whirring sounds, but then they stop. It often seems like it is short cycling or out of sequence. Could this be a control unit problem? If so which one? Looking at the diagrams there is one in the base (Part #AP5306417) and one behind the controls on the door (Part #AP5324148) according the parts diagrams on your website.
1 Answer Hello Peter. If the water is clean, then the valve has a slow leak and you will need to replace the water valve 00622058 on the unit. Thanks. Read More...
Jim October 26, 2015 The control module (#00705047) appears to have a diagnostic port on it. Is it possible to run some sort of diagnostic test for this module? The dishwasher model # is SHX5AL05UC/02. It is an older model and there does not seem to be a way to push some combination of buttons to get test codes. The unit will turn on, pump out water, then after about 2 minutes or so start beeping. When I open the door the "clean" light is on. It does not fill with water (I put a new valve in) or advance through the usual cycles. The problem is intermittent, but is becoming steadily worse.
1 Answer Jim, Unfortunately there is no information on this model showing how to access the error codes for this model. Read More...
Tim September 18, 2015 for Model Number Bosch SHE3ARL5UC/07 Please help with my Bosch dishwasher that is not draining. After it runs it will leave 1/2" of water in the bottom. Never did this before. It also seems to be short cycling and skipping the drying cycle. I replaced the Impelor pump motor and cleaned the area of any dirt. That did not fix the problem. My wife threw out the old pump, so have a new pump. I am wondering if it may be the control unit. Would that make sense? I don't want to buy one unless I am reasonably sure it will solve the problem, especially after buying an unnessary pump already. Please help!!! My wife is getting fed up and I want this fixed w/o having to buy a whole new dishwasher. Thanks...Tim
1 Answer Tim, The check the connectors at the drain pump and at the control module to see if there is any corrosion. If there is then clean the connectors. If this checks ok then the control module will most likely be the issue. Read More...
Tim September 15, 2015 for Model Number SHE3ARL5uc/07 Bosch Dishwasher Our Bosch Dishwasher is leaving about an inch of water in the tub after each cycle. It also is running short cycles and seems to jump past the drying cycle. I also have to turn off the dishwasher and turn it back on to start another cycle. I originally thought it may be the drain/ impellor pump, so I put a new one on and cleaned out any dirt. That did not fix anything. I am wondering if it may be the control unit. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
1 Answer Tim, Based on the information of what is going on with the unit, this would most likely be the control unit that is causing a faulty control module. Read More...
