James December 25, 2014 for Model Number Bosch SHE3AR52UC/07 Dishwasher Need to replace part #00645208 Dispenser. The two wire connectors on the back of the dispenser are difficult to remove. I've avoided using too much force out of fear they might break. Is there a special technique to release them or are they held on by friction only?
1 Answer James, The connectors appear to be spade connectors and you can use a pair of needle nose plies to pull them off. Read More...
Steve December 23, 2014 for Model Number Bosch SHE6AP05UC When I took the door panel off, a strip of plastic that is 22 1/4" long by x 1/4" x 1/8" that is mostly white but blue on the other side fell out. Where does this go/how do I put it back? Is it a super-critical part?
1 Answer Steve, You will want to hold onto the part just incase needed but it does not appear to be an important part. It may go on one of the edges to keep anything from rubbing on it. Read More...
Paul January 06, 2012 for Model Number she4am05uc/01 Soap dispenser will not open. Ordered new part from Bosch, pn. 645208, but need to know how to remove old one, & reinstall without breaking something else. Thanks Paul
1 Answer Hello Paul. Remove outer door, remove fascia panel & disconnect wire harness from fascia panel. Disconnect wire harness from above dispenser, then remove wires to wax motor & reed switch. Disconnect condensation tube (for older models with condensationtubes in doors). Bend retainer tabs, the push dispenser inward toward tank. Protect hand with towel as edges are sharp. Replace from inside of tank position O-ring seal and bend tabs to secure. When replacing dispensers 00645208, lubricate O-rings with rinse-aid & support inner doors to avoid damage if O-rings stick. Hope this helps. Read More...
John S. October 26, 2011 for Model Number SHE4AM 12UC/03 Our Bosch diswasher's detergent dispenser has a problem - its door will not stay closed (spring loaded). I want to buy a new dispenser from you (P/N AP4355372), but I need to know how to remove the old one and install the new one. Are there screws which attach the dispenser, and if so, where are they located?
1 Answer Hi John. The dispenser is part # 00645208. Remove power (breaker). Remove 6-inner panel screws on the inside of the panel. Not the screws at the top holding the control. Keep hands on front of the panel, as it will fall out the bottom. Remove wire connections at the dispenser. Carefully bend up the metal tabs holding the dispenser in place (inside of inner door). Push the dispenser out into the tub area to release. Careful as not to let it fall into the tub and damage parts. Gently re bend the inner metal dispenser tabs so it will accept and hold the new part. Install the front panel by closing inner door 1/2 -way. Insert the top of the outer panel 1st under the bottom side of the control panel. Hold panels together as you install inner screws. Turn power back on. Thank You. Read More...
