Andrea July 10, 2025 for Model Number shx4atf5uc/21 Dishwasher is throwing E01 code now. Started a few months ago with water leaking back in and flooding the floor. Changed the water inlet valve and then it started throwing draining issues (to be fair, both issues were probably happening at the same time originally). Changed the drain motor, worked like new a couple of times, then started throwing e01. Checked the wires and board in the door, but I didn't see anything unusual. Where is the heating element? What else can I check? Thank you.
1 Answer Hello Andrea, and thank you for your question. Unfortunately, the error code E01 is specifically a failure in the power module 00747819. Read More...
Kevin D. April 09, 2022 After replacing the entire detergent and rise aid mechanism, the detergent cup still is not opening during cycles. Is is possible there is another problem, perhaps with the board from which the dispenser receives the correct voltage signaling the door to open? What would be the repair solution for that?
1 Answer Hello Kevin, I'm sorry but we will need to ask you to please post a new question including the model number from your units' I.D. tag so we can provide a proper diagnosis and recommend parts that can be guaranteed to work properly on your unit. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter. Read More...
Steve December 31, 2020 for Model Number she7pt56uc Sometimes I find rinse aid on dishes immediately below the dispenser after the wash and dry cycle are done. What may be causing this? I have reduced the amount of rinse agent dispensed but it still occurs. How can I tell whether this is a dispenser or controller problem? Thanks, Steve
1 Answer Steve, This issue would most likely be caused by a faulty dispenser allowing rinse aid to flow when it should not. Read More...
Al December 23, 2020 for Model Number SHE3ARF5UC/12 Flashing fill rinse dispenser light. Filled unit with rinse aid, still flashes and machine won't start. Do I need a new dispenser or main control board? Thanks
1 Answer Al, it would be recommended that the wires are inspected for any loose connections. As the dishwasher should be able to operate even when the rinse aid needs to be refilled, this issue could be in the door latch assembly 10028963 or in the main control 00705047. If the wire connections are good, the next step would be to test the latch for 10 Volts. If there is proper voltage, the latch has failed. If there is not proper voltage, the main control has failed. Worksong April 16, 2020 for Model Number SHP65TL5UC/02 My dispenser failed in a different manner. It opens every cycle...but so late that the detergent pod doesn't dissolve. I find it intact, wrapped on the d/w floor. Is this definitely a defective dispenser, or could there be another cause? (FYI--my water is approx 130 degrees, & I run @ the sink before each cycle.) What kind of dispenser defect could cause this behavior?
1 Answer Worksong, The only way the dispenser door will not open would be that the door is sticking and not opening. If this is not the case then the issue will be that the control board is sending power to the dispenser at the wrong time. Read More...
Eugene February 24, 2020 for Model Number SHV68TL3UC/04 I recently replaced the dispenser but the outcome did not correct the problem. Is there a way to check that either the old or new dispenser is okay? How about the existence of a secondary problem.
1 Answer Eugene, the dispenser can be tested for incoming voltage during the wash cycle to identify if it receives the necessary voltage to open. If the full symptoms of the unit failure could be provided in a new inquiry, this will allow for the most accurate information to be presented. Read More...
Jen October 23, 2018 for Model Number SHP65T55UC/02 My 4 year old dishwasher leaves sticky rinse aid residue (like a fine spray) on the dishes that are only in the very front of the bottom rack just below the dispenser. The dispenser door still snaps shut and I have not changed products. What could be causing this? Thank you!
1 Answer Jen, This issue would most likely be caused by a rinse aid dispenser that may be putting too much rinse aid into the unit. Read More...
Alice August 07, 2018 I can't seem to find a rinse aide and detergent dispenser for my Bosch DW shx53tl5uc/07. When I look up parts for that model and select the dispenser shown, and then double check in the compatiblity check, it tells me it is not compatible. Please give me the correct part number. Thanks Alice
