Hello LSK, the main control board is not considered repairable, there is no parts list for it, it is only replaceable, it is part 12012946.

Cathiea, if the wire connection between the oven control and the display is intact, the most likely failure would be in the display module 12029207.

Patrick, the display module 12029207, wiring, and control module 12012946 would need to be inspected for indications of damage. If there is any damage, that part would need to be replaced. If there is no indications of damage, the control module would be the likely failure.

Bill for Model Number hbl8451uc/02

Hi, We have a Bosch oven model hbl8451uc/02. Last night we noticed that the control panel no longer beeps when pressing any of the buttons, and the kitchen timer does not beep when it's completed. There are no error codes displayed and the oven appears to heat properly. We've already had the control panel replaced once when it had displayed an error, so this is the second control panel we've had for the oven which is less than six years old. Any help you can provide would be appreciated! Thanks, Bill

Bill, it is possible that the audible tone has been de-activated through the settings menu. This can be checked by pressing the settings button twice and then pressing the number 6. It should sound a tone and show on when pressed. If this does not correct the failure, it would be likely that the buzzer on the display module 12029207 has failed.

Oleksandr for Model Number hgi8056uc/1

Hi! We have E044 error (touch control module error) on Bosch hgi8056uc/1 model. When I turn off the breaker and turn it back on the error shows up in 5 seconds and starts to beep. When I press any button the beeping stops. We have tried to clean the contacts for 2 connectors to display unit but it didn't help. We have tried to turn on/off breaker and test all of the buttons to test if it's related to buttons. Do you think we should try to get a replacement for the display unit? or it could be something else (main controller)?

1 Answer

Oleksandr, This issue would most likely be caused by a faulty display control and would need to replace it.

Cheri for Model Number HGI8054UC

We have the Bosch HGI8054UC gas slide in range and I noticed the clock was black one day (like when power goes out). Then it came back on. Then as the days have gone by, it's losing time. I tried to reset it, for example to 12:00 and after an hour it only said 12:05. It was also very slow to reset like when i hit 'set clock' it took a few seconds to register to command. Now when we set the oven temp, it takes a second to register the command, says it starting to preheat then shuts off after a minute. Do you think the display (00758968?) needs to be replaced or is this a control board issue? Or something else? I also read that if you unplugged the stove from 10 minutes to 24 hrs, it might solve the issue but this did not work for us.

1 Answer

Cheri, based on the information provided, the most likely cause of failure would be the main control board. However, to ensure the correct part number is provided, the full model would be necessary in a new inquiry.

Hello, Michael. You need to check the flex connector at the display module and replace the display module if the connector checks out as good. The p/n for the display module is AP5950840. Thank you.
