The Drain Hose is an OEM part for Bosch dishwashers, designed to facilitate the efficient and reliable expulsion of wastewater from the appliance to the household drainage system. This component ensures that used water is properly drained out after each wash cycle, preventing water from backing up and causing issues within the dishwasher.  The hose measures 5 feet. This Bosch dishwasher drain hose comes with one O-ring. For the 1-foot drain hose order 00298556.

Causes for replacement may include clogs from food particles or debris, physical damage such as cracks or splits that lead to leaks, or a hose that has become stiff and noncompliant over time.

Symptoms of a bad Drain Hose include:

  • Water remaining in the bottom of the dishwasher after the cycle has completed, indicating a failure to drain.
  • Leaks under the dishwasher, which may be a sign of a cracked or damaged hose.
  • Poor dishwasher performance or error codes related to drainage problems.

This genuine Bosch OEM replacement part is also compatible with Thermador, Gaggenau, and some Kenmore models.
