Debbie July 30, 2022 for Model Number Bosch dishwasher I’m trying to replace the check valve in my Bosch dishwasher but when I pulled it up the bottom half didn’t come out so now it’s stuck inside . How do I get it out. I’ve tried everything with the exception of taking the dishwasher out of the wall
1 Answer No special way to get that but you may have to remove the dishwasher and disassemble it. Read More...
Yvonne August 15, 2020 for Model Number Shpm65n55/01 Brand new dishwasher. After a cycle seems fine but within hours/days the drain area water is gross and the dishwasher stinks so bad i dont use it. I am wondering if thus coukd be due to a faukty non return valve. It does not seem to be a pump problem. Thank you, yvonne
1 Answer That is possible but I would double-check the entire installation to be sure the hoses are installed properly as well. Read More...
David February 15, 2020 for Model Number SHPM98W75N/11 I have discovered a small amount of water in the bottom of our Bosch dishwasher once I removed the two filters. Do you think the check valve is faulty allowing a small amount of water back into the unit?
1 Answer David, if the water is at the bottom of the sump where the aqua sensor is, this is normal as the drain pump is not going to be able to pump all of the water out. The drain pump utilizes water to push water through the drain, which causes a little bit to be left in the sump assembly. Read More...
Shilpa February 05, 2020 for Model Number SHXM4AY55N/25 Hi I just purchased this Bosch dishwasher... i wanted to check if this one has an integral check valve or not. If it does I will not have to install an air check valve. Do help me with regards to this. thanks
1 Answer Shilpa, the drain of the model provided does utilize a check valve 00611320 at the sump where the drain hose would connect into the dishwasher. Read More...
Negel December 18, 2018 for Model Number SHX46L15UC/24 I am having two issues. First, my SHX46L15UC/24 dishwasher keeps filling with water and SECOND, it will not drain. Having been using my shop vac to empty out the water. Please advise.
1 Answer Negel, Check and see if the main control is sending voltage to the drain pump. If your getting 120 vac to the drain pump them your pump is faulty or you have a clog may be in the drain line. And if valve continuously fills just curious how you are stopping that. Do you have to turn off the water supply? Possible stuck relay on the control or the solenoid on the valve is stuck open. With both issues, I'm leaning more to control but I would test these things. Read More...
Roger February 03, 2018 for Model Number shu3302uc-u12 My dishwasher doesn't drain. I replaced the check valve. It didn't look bad and water still does not drain. Do I need a drain pump?
1 Answer Hello Roger, If the drain pump is getting 120Vac when it should be draining but the pump is not running, make sure nothing is in the impeller. If nothing is in there preventing the pump from running and the filters are clean and there are no clogs, you will need to replace the drain pump 00642239. (This is also if the garbage disposer has not been replaced and the knockout in it has not been knocked out.) If you are not getting 120Vac to the drain pump, you may need to replace the control board 00647474. IMPORTANT NOTE: The manufacturer has a note by this part stating that the customer should contact them at 1-800-944-2904 to make sure this is the correct part number for the model number on the units' I.D. tag. Bob M April 08, 2015 for Model Number shx45p06uc/64 I am attempting to locate on my dishwasher the drain back flow preventer check valve. My dishwasher will not drain although it sounds like the drain motor is running. I did find the part on your web catalog but can not find it on my unit. Any help you can offer is appreciated,
1 Answer Bob, The non return valve 00165262 would be located on the out port of the sump assembly where the drain hose would connect to the sump. If the non return valve is not there then it would need to be replaced. You will also want to check the impeller on the drain to make sure that the impeller is not damaged. Read More...
Karen July 21, 2013 for Model Number bosch dishwasher My machine thinks that there is water in the bottom, and keeps running. The back flow preventor is missing the round portion. Would this cause this problem?
1 Answer Hello Karen. If there is water in the base, you need to repair the leak in the unit. If there is no water in the base, you need to check and see if the float is stuck in the unit. Read More...
