Yes, you will need to remove the outer door panel and sound deadening material to access the two screws that mount the end caps to the handle and door panel. 1 Answer Janet, you'll need to remove the outer door panel, Remove six T-20 Torx inner door screws below fascia panel --three per side. Carefully pull the bottom of outer door out from the dishwasher until top door tabs clear, then pull door down until it releases from dishwasher. Take care to not scratch or damage the outer door. Remove the sound deadening material pad / insulation. Remove the two hex head screws that secure the handle to the door panel and carefully remove the assembly. Remove the end caps from the handle, and reverse the procedure to reinstall the panel to the dishwasher door. Good Luck and Thanks Read More...
