Rm February 20, 2017 for Model Number Bosch Cooktop Model NGM8054UC/01 One of the igniters cracked. I'll replace it with a Bosch 00612817 Ignition Device, which appears to be the correct part (please confirm). How do I install? Peterson January 06, 2014 for Model Number Thermador SGSX365FS I just ordered the 612817 ignitor device and clip. How do I install this?
1 Answer Hello Peterson, If you lift the star burner cap and use a socket to remove the brass nut in the center, the complete start burner assembly, ignitor and all, will lift up. You will then remove the wire and the clip and slip the ignitor out of the top of the burner. The new ignitor is installed in the exact reverse order. Read More...
