Thad June 10, 2025 for Model Number SHXM78W55N/01 Hello - my Bosch dishwasher has been having some functional issues, starting with intermittent E24/Watertap errors that stopped the dishwasher part way through cycles which got more frequent. I replaced the drain pump as well as assured the drain system was completely clear of debris from the filter, to the drain pump inlet, out the hose and air gap, and into the house drainage system. Now, the dishwasher simply shuts off part way through cycles. Would this be a control board issue, and if so, which part do I need to replace it. Thank you.
1 Answer Thad, Thank you for your question. With the drain pump having been replaced and the drain having been cleared but still doing this, it would be a control board issue and would need the control board part number 12016886. Read More...
Julie August 15, 2024 for Model Number SHXM78W55N/11 Sent a question but didn’t enclose my email address. ON/OFF button beeps when pressed but other buttons don’t respond and display is blank…
1 Answer Hello Julie, thank you for contacting APP, If only the On/Off button is responsive I would suspect an issue with the Operating Module Pro 11019860 / 11019860. Before replacing this component, turn off the unit at the breaker or unplug it from its outlet for at least 10 minutes to see if that resets the unit. Read More...
Nevin August 10, 2024 for Model Number SHPM98W75N/01 Our dishwasher has been showing the "watertap" message with no other error code. It beeps repeatedly at the beginning of a cycle but otherwise finishes with water seeming to enter and exit normally but the dishes not getting as clean as usual. The water source and pressure is normal with no kinks in the line. Is this possibly a sign of the control panel itself failing?
1 Answer Hello Nevin, thank you for contacting APP, The 1st thing I would check, even though the unit seems to be filling well, is to remove the water inlet hose from its connections to the unit's water valve 10023852 and the source valve in the home and check that nothing is blocking the hose and that the screen on the inlet valve is clear, it does not take much of an interruption or change in water flow to generate a water code like this. Also, make sure that there is hot water being run to the nearest source such as a sink before starting a cycle as too low of inlet temperature can generate issues. If those seem good it may be an issue with the Main Control 12016887 or the Turbidity Sensor 00611323. Read More...
Charlie August 23, 2023 for Model Number SHXM78W55N-01 I keep receiving an intermittent E22 error. The water after the cycles are done sometimes seems a little grainy or cloudy from residual dishwasher tablets, but most of the time everything appears clean. My filters are cleaned every other day and there’s no buildup on there. I also use dishwasher cleaning tablets somewhat regularly. I checked the drain impeller and it is free of debris. Also checked the check valve for the drainage and it is free of clogs too. I replaced the drain pump thinking that it might not be operating properly and it did not fix this error. I’ve also unplugged the dishwasher for extended periods of time so the error should have reset. I noticed the Inlet mechanism/labyrinth has what appears to be a black float valve (overfflow?) and there was yellow gunk stuck in there. I tried cleaning it out with hot water, vinegar and baking soda, and Dawn dish detergent as mechanical cleaning these bends would be impossible. Some of it came out (not all) and the float seems to be moving better and perhaps it’s my imagination, but the dishes seemed to be cleaned better.. I’m not sure how this device works (scratched my head analyzing all the chambers/paths) but I wonder if it has anything to do with the E22 still being intermittent. Right now I’m stuck wondering if it’s this inlet, turbidity sensor, or even the control board. I’m hoping it’s not a control board issue as that can be a pricey fix. I’ve scoured the Internet and can’t find any answers. Thank you.
1 Answer Charlie, The float that is on there will not have anything to do with the draining but could have been the cause for dishes not cleaning properly. The issue that you are dealing with would be more likely that the control is operating intermittently for the drain and would require a new control board 12016886. Read More...
Kim June 14, 2023 for Model Number SHXM98W75N/01 The dishwasher is not responding to the cycles that I set it to. Could it be 11019860 or another issue that will not allow the dishwasher to run?
1 Answer Kim, If the display is not recognizing commands then the display would be the most likely cause for this issue. Read More...
Kyle June 14, 2023 for Model Number SHP68T55UC/09 I opened up the control panel and the connectors on the harness going to this board has corrosion on it. How can I remove the corrosion and keep it from coming back?
1 Answer Kyle, You could try to use an electrical contact cleaner. Then you could put some electrical lube on it to help keep the contacts from getting corroded again. Read More...
