Symptoms of a bad panel include:

  • Exposure of internal electronic boards from broken fascia pieces
  • Warping allows debris/moisture to enter touch areas
  • Discoloration or fading inconsistent with the rest of the exterior

This genuine Bosch replacement is compatible also with Gaggenau appliances.

For Bosch Facia Panel (Part Number: OEM12901200)

Steve for Model Number SHE55M15UC/60

Replaced the plastic fascia and now it will not run. When I push the start button the number 1 shows up in the display and the quick wash flashes on the far right. I have tried pushing the cancel and reset buttons simultaneously on the right but that does nothing. I also turned off the breaker to the unit hoping to reset it. Any help to reset would be appreciated. It worked great with the broken plastic fascia and even with a few buttons having fallen out. Now it's not working at all.

Steve, you may want to check to ensure that the control is seated properly on the facia and that the connectors on the control are secured properly. If the control is not seated properly, this can cause the buttons to not align properly and potentially have a button pressed in acting like a stuck key.

Kasch, You should be able to remove just the screws at the top edge and one down each side to replace the fascia panel.

Jim, The 00665887 / 00665887 Fascia Panel, is the correct part to order for the model number you supplied. The repair is a little more involved than what you described., but you were pretty close. First thing to do is remove power to the dishwasher. Tools needed: T-20 Torx & flat blade screwdrivers. Remove fascia panel by removing T-20 Torx inner door screws. Disconnect wire harnesses from module after noting connector locations. Pry out metal console tabs holding module to console. Carefully pry back plastic tabs, then slide module from console. Carefully transfer the buttons from the old console to the replacement console, reverse the procedure, restore power and test run the dishwasher.

Janet, Yes when you take this part out you would push in the tabs around it to release it. When installing the buttons there should be clips that hold the buttons in place and when you get all the parts seated it should keep them in also.

Hello Diane, You will need to remove the door liner to access the complete assembly and transfer everything from the old panel to the new one.
