John September 28, 2021 for Model Number SHP65T55UC/02 to start off your videos are awesome. That being said I just purchased this dishwasher from a man who went to repair it himself and when he was finished installing a new drain pump the dishwasher wouldn't do anything. he got very frustrated, bought a new dishwasher and sold this to me for $20 just to get rid of it. He indicated to me he had the control board unplugged and may have some connectors in wrong position. would that cause it not to run or not even turn on. And would it damage the control board. My thoughts are the connectors are for only one position to prevent damage from this happening. My lovely wife indicated to me there is a reset procedure to go through in order to start it back up after a repair. Any suggestions. Thanks for any considuration you may have on this problem. Hope you are all well in these troubling times. Thanks, John Russell
1 Answer Hello John, unfortunately, we have no service information on this model, in general, most wire harness connectors are dedicated to only fit in one location on a control board, of course, the best procedure is to take a pic or record the original connections/location to avoid this problem. On Bosch dishwasher, most had a reset procedure by holding the start pad for 3 seconds but that would be with a working display /user interface. Read More...
Karen August 12, 2019 for Model Number SHP68T55UC/01 FD950300764 I am getting an E25 error code. When I go in and manually turn the impeller on the drain pump (00620774) I can get the dishwasher to complete the cycle. What parts do you recommend that I replace? I am thinking part #00620774 (drain pump). If so, should I also replace the sensor (00611323)? Thank you.
1 Answer Karen, as the drain pump impeller has to be manually manipulated to allow the dishwasher to continue through the cycle and drain, the issue would be with the drain pump 00620774 not being able to start initially. This would indicate a failure in the windings of the drain motor. Read More...
Allan May 27, 2019 for Model Number shx68tl5uc/01 i have code e15 i checked no water in tube so i open the bottom of dishwasher and found water under the pump where it collect and as a safety removed round styrofoam disk dryed pan out checked for leaks did not find any also check drain tub lolled clear put back togather kept bottom open ran dishwasher watcher under neath everything was good and dry worker find for two days and and code e15 is back on again checked and water is back buy styrofoam disk.
1 Answer Allan, You have a leak in one part of the cycle. Pull out and leave the unit out and have both sides where you can see underneath. It could possibly leak in the drain, fill, or wash cycle. That disk is a safety float that when it floats it trips a switch and shuts down and drains thinking the machine is flooding. Read More...
