Robert L Fort Wayne , IN October 14, 2015 Bosch dishwasher was not draining Water was left in the bottom of the dishwasher after each time we ran it and the dishes were no longer getting clean. Also, there was always soap left in the dispenser. I took the DW completely apart and determined the water was not being forced out of the discharge tube and was merely draining via gravity. I ordered a replacement drain pump and removed the entire motor/pump assembly from under the DW. Once the pump was replaced and the DW was put back together, the water now was forced out out the discharge tube by the new pump and all was well. 2 months later and the DW is still working perfectly. Larry J Vashon , WA June 02, 2022 Appliance: Bosch Dishwasher SHE53T56UC/02 E24 error code on Bosch dishwasher I thought the pump was clogged up with junk, cleaned it out (remove the white cover in the bottom of the drain). That worked for a couple days but started getting the E24 code again. I used a shop vac to suck out the drain lines - it's hard to tell if anything is stuck in there. I decided to replace the pump after reading other reports on the website -it seemed like it was noisier than it used to be. So far it is working fine, the pump is quieter and when the DW drains it sounds like it is blasting out a lot harder than before. So the old pump worked but perhaps was weak? I appreciate the videos, info, and parts diagrams on the website. Read More... 1 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 30-60 minutes Tools: Screwdrivers
