Jim February 10, 2022 Hi, I'm trying to replace the Switch Assembly part SV 12969. I have three screws are on the underside of the hood as well as two side screws. It seems to be still attached by screws that I can't seem to access. Any suggestions? Thanks Jim C.
1 Answer Jim, We will need to have the model number of the range hood to be able to assist properly with your question. Read More...
Ricky Z December 14, 2021 for Model Number K210A Light switch does not work, it loosely slides back and forth and is permanently on. Is this a control panel issue?
1 Answer Ricky, With the light switch loosely sliding then yes this would be a faulty control board which would be part number SV12969. Read More...
Harry Backeberg November 19, 2020 for Model Number Broan SV03255 I just ordered a replacement part from you (Broan SV03255) and was going to have a service man install it. But it may be something I can do myself. Do you have installation instructions available and/or an exploded view showing the location of the part?
1 Answer Harry, There would not be installed instructions or an exploded view of where this part is located on the unit. If you look under the range hood where the lights are located. There will be screws that are holding a panel that holds the lights. Making sure that power is off to the unit you will remove this panel and under this panel is where the control board will be located. Read More...
David L August 30, 2020 for Model Number broan pik33 with p8 blower Fan will only run at a very slow speed regardless of slider switch position. Do I need to replace P8 blower motor or the control board. Can I plug P8 blower 2 prong plug direct into a wall outlet to test ? Will it blow the P8 motor ?
1 Answer David, Try testing power at the fan motor P8 and see if there is power. If there is proper power then this will be a faulty motor and if not then the board would be the issue. Read More...
Vince March 05, 2018 for Model Number K210A36SS Hello, Our broan hood fan is no longer working. The lights work so I know there's power. The orange plastic thing next to the vent fan is dangling. I've never noticed it before and when I push it up it's super loose and just falls back down. Wondering if that broke. I was going to buy the replacement board and switch cover to replace on the unit but thought I should ask if that's likely what's wrong with it. Thanks!
1 Answer Vince, This issue sounds likely that it would be the control board that is faulty with the unit. While the orange plastic thing may need to be changed it would not typically cause the unit to not run. Read More...
Jay November 11, 2017 The lights work fine but nothing happens when the fan is turned to the on position. Since it is a board that controls both the lights and the fan, is it possible that just the fan switch is broken? Or is the P5 blower broken? I do not know how to tell. Also is there instructions for removing the controller in order to test continuity? Thanks for your help.
1 Answer Hello Jay. We will need your model number to help you with this. Please call 1-877-477-7278 or post your model number with a new question on the parts page. http://www.appliancepartspros.com/modelnumber_locator.aspx Read More...
Ellen F February 04, 2017 for Model Number sv03255 We replaced the fan switch plate, sv12969, and control board, sv03255, about a year ago. Recently, the fan turned on by itself, and would not stop until we turned off the breaker. Do we have to replace both parts, the fan switch plate and the control board, or just the control board?
1 Answer Ellen, We wouldn't expect to need the fan switch plate, but the problem description does indicate a problem in the control board SV03255 / SV03255 . The part is in stock and available at this time. Thanks Read More...
Normo January 16, 2016 for Model Number Broan K260A30 My range vent blower doesn't blow fast. The switch will turn it on, but it runs very slowly, and when I move the slider mechanism, there is no noticable change in speed. I recall a month or two ago, when I slide it, the unit would run intermittently fast, then slow, then fast. Do I need a new controller board? (When I plug the blower fan directly into the wall, it blows fast and hard)
1 Answer Normo, Yes for the issue that you are having it does sound like it would be a faulty control board that is causing this to occur. Read More...
Dennis S November 18, 2015 for Model Number K260A We purchased this unit for our church. The off/on switch no longer works and also the variable speed no longer works. Fan seems to be on high speed continuously. Do I need the control board? Thanks, Dennis
