Edward May 21, 2013 for Model Number Dacor ECPS227S Bottom oven works fine but the two lights do not come on. Installed new bulbs. Nothing. Control panel?? Thanks.
1 Answer Edward, You will want to check to make sure that the door switch is good and check power coming out of the control board to make sure that signal is going to the lights. If not then replace the control board. Read More...
Raj999 May 16, 2013 for Model Number Dacor ERD30 I have a weird problem that’s not a major issue but just annoying. The clock on the control panel doesn't seem to keep the right time. If I set it correctly, within a few minutes it changes the time to something else. All other functions work fine – Cooking, temperature, timers, light…etc., but not the clock. Other than replacing the whole control unit, is there anything else I can do?
1 Answer Hello Raj999. To repair the issue, you will need to order and replace the clock assembly in the unit. Read More...
Chris April 08, 2013 for Model Number Dacor EO230SCH double oven Had error code u43 with a intermittent beep. Now, the error is u60 cooling fan. "Door engaged" constantly flashes. Lower oven works but the light comes on and off at will. This was installed in 2006. Will one of your parts fix this? Can I install it myself? thank you
1 Answer Hello Chris, The fault code is indicating a bad connection on S19 or a bad relay board. You should verify that the connections are proper on S19 (double line break relay). If securing the connections at S19 doesn't restore normal operation, replace the relay board. The second fault code indicates that a cooling fan has failed, which can also be caused by a bad board. Note that a fault code beginning with a "u" is an upper oven fault. If a fault code ever comes up for the lower oven, it will be preceded by a "L". The troubleshooting process on these units are very complex. If you could please re-post with an e-mail address, we can include some very precise and useful information with illustrations that will make diagnosing and repairing the unit much easier. Thank you for putting your trust in us. We will do everything in our power to show that your confidence in our business was a wise decision. Read More...
Michael D March 10, 2013 for Model Number Dacor ECS130sch I keep getting an error message of F-1 and the beeping noise will not stop till I turn off the breaker. What part do I need? Thanks
1 Answer Hello Michael. 1. Leave the power on, as the F1 signals showing on display. Carefully take down the control panel or the maintop and access the back of the ERC/CLOCK. 2. Fine the flate ribbon coming off from the membrane (touch pad) going into the ERC/CLOCK. 3. While the F1 is signaling , press cancel/secure and immediately disconnect the touch pad going into the ERC. If the Membrane is faulty the F1 will cease, then replace the membrane. For Continuing F1 After the above is completed follow the steps below. Inspect the Molex plug connection from the ERC to to the relay board for shorted connection. Check relay board for cracked solder joints at the connection. ERC with F1 Failure The F1 must be displayed in the ERC for this test. At the ERC check for 24 VDC at the J2 connector between pins 1 and 3 for single / lower oven.At the J5 connector between 7 and 10 for the lower oven(when the is not in a cooking mode). if you read 24 VDC at those test points, replace the ERC/CLOCK. Bob M. November 13, 2012 for Model Number RSE305 What is the part number for this model for an ERC board, oven control?
Jake November 10, 2012 for Model Number Dacor range ERSD 30 ERC How do I access this to relace it after I buy it?
1 Answer Hi. Open the oven door and latch the hinge lever locks. Remove the door. Remove the lower control panel trim and screws. Remove the knobs. Remove the knob bezel screws and lay aside correctly for replacement. Lower the front panel and pull fwd off the valve knobs. Lay the panel protected on the edges with a towel. Then mark all wires for correct replacement on the back of the clock. Remove the clock part # 62692 and mount the new one. Replace the clock wires off one at a time-to-the new clock so it is easier of no confusion. Thank You. Read More...
