Joe Z November 13, 2019 for Model Number ECS230 I need to replace the hinges and see that they are discontinued. Are you aware of a substitute hinge kit that will work? If not, any advice (like try to replace just the spring)? Thank you.
1 Answer Joe Z., Attempting to replace the springs wouldn't solve the issue, either. The 701034 and the 701035 Oven Door Hinge Kit(s) have been discontinued by the manufacturer. The manufacturer no longer sells the part. We can no longer get it from any of our suppliers. There is no substitute for the part available to us and we don't know of any other source for the part. You may want to try contacting local parts dealers, one of them might still have it in stock. Enter your part number in a search engine, a smaller company might have it. Try eBay, Amazon or similar sites. Search by using the manufacturer's part number You could also try a used appliance store, sometimes they have the same model or usable part for your machine.
