Mark November 01, 2015 for Model Number LFEF3011LWD After preheating the oven my wife saw a flame on the curved piece of the bottom baking element. Is this just grease or is the element shorting out?
1 Answer Hello Mark. It sounds like the bake element 316075103 shorted out and will need to be replaced on the unit. If the element shorted out, you should see a burnt spot on it. Also, it will test open for continuity. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
