The Bake Element is an OEM replacement part for Frigidaire ovens and ranges. Located at the bottom of the oven cavity. This fundamental component produces the heat needed for baking, roasting, and heating functions.

Causes of bake element problems involve normal wear from repeated heat cycles and heavy-duty use over many years. Extended exposure to high oven temperatures can degrade fragile coil filaments.

Symptoms of a faulty bake element include:

  • Uneven or inadequate heating for baking/roasting recipes
  • Slow or inefficient preheating of oven interior
  • Oven temperature failing to reach desired settings
  • Element coil is visibly discolored or deteriorated

This OEM Frigidaire replacement element is also compatible with Electrolux, Gibson, and Kelvinator appliance brands.
