This stove was given to us and I found troubleshooting paperwork inside the front panel of the drawer. I cannot find any model numbers in any place the example shows and there aren't any numbers on the paperwork. The stove is showing an F1 error message. The research I've done indicates the EOC needs replaced. We can't afford for a repairman to come and tell us what it is. I've watched the video and know that I can do this myself, but I don't want to waste $165 to find out. Is there any other problem with the F1 code besides the EOC? If so, how do I test it? Thanks for any help.

Hello Nora. We really need a model number, but in most cases, F1 does mean to replace the EOC.

Ryan for Model Number 79092683302

My wife was cooking, using the left rear burner and baking potatoes in the oven. She saw a flash that appeared to be near the rear burner. The burners still work but the control board flashes 12:00 and I can't get the oven to work. I can't reset the time. I can't get the broiler to work. If you push any buttons on the control panel, the light above the broil button comes on. I took the back of the unit off and the connector wire to the broiler appears burnt at the point of connection, like the insulation on the wire at the connection is burnt. Help! Is this the control panel, or is the connection to the broiler the culprit. I have a mulitmeter so I can check the elements, tho I don't suspect them at this point. Need help trouble shooting. Thanks. Ryan
