Harrison, It's not likely to have a faulty new part, but it is possible. First check and ensure you have wired the new control properly, especially the L1,L2,BK and BR terminals. if all's correct, then the new control may have an issue in the "clear" circuit of the control or an issue with the actuator tab not making contact with the contact point on the internal board.

Hello Cheryl, We have the clock (AP3561834), and the overlay for the clock (AP3219802) but if you are referring to the control panel (AP3219779) that contains all of the control parts, I'm sorry but the manufacturer has discontinued it and there is no satisfactory substitution listed.

Jason for Model Number 790.95322303 / Control panel # 316207511

I pushed the "bake" button to preheat the oven, about 1 minute into it preheating I hear a pop and see a flash come from control board. I took control board off and see a big spot of black spark residue on board. I'm assuming the board is toast. My question is, is something that is common? I want to purchase another board and put back in. Any way the problem could have stemmed from somewhere else in the oven? Or if I purchase a new control board will that be the fix to my problem? Thanks in advance for answer!

Jason, The new control board should correct the problem. Could have been a stuck relay that caused board to fail.

Hi. Shut the control that has the " off " label. Remove the power. Carefully use a plastic putty knife to to pry out the fresh food light switch part # 240505801. Then you jumper the wires together momentarily to see if the light comes on. IF it does then you know the switch feed wires are good and the light bulb is OK. If the switch plunger sticks shut when the door is open, then replace it. You can also test the same for the freezer door switch part # 8582405058065. Testing momentarily with the power off and on. Do not turn the unit control back on until you are done diagnosing as this will allow the compressor to start back up one time. This way you still have power to test but you are not starting the comp. and having to short cycle the compressor over and over. Thank You.
