Questions & Answers

For Frigidaire Clock Timer (Part Number: OEM10690548)

Hello Duane, As per the tech sheet, this can be caused by any of the following conditions: 1. Shorted keypad. 2. Control's internal checksum may have become corrupted. 3. Control has sensed a potential runaway oven condition. Control may have shorted relay, RTD sensor probe may have gone bad. To correct the issue it is recommended to Check RTD sensor probe and replace if necessary. If the oven is overheating, disconnect power. If oven continues to check the oven sensor and replace if necessary. The oven sensor should have a resistance of 1090 ohms at 77 degrees and would add 2 ohms for every 1 degree of temperature increase. If the oven is overheating, disconnect power. If oven continues to overheat when the power is reapplied, replace EOC. Severe overheating may require the entire oven to be replaced, should damage be extensive.

Captdale for Model Number PLES5389DCE

I've replaced the electronic display panel with new part number AP3586271 and this did not resolve my problem. My question is what else could be causing the display to function and light up or turn the oven on. Here are my symptoms. My oven does not work but the stove top does. There are no lights on the display at all except for the left and right stove top indicator lights. No clock display and oven will not turn on even by pressing any of the buttons on the panel. I would like to know if replaceing the clock/time part# AP 3563513 will fix my proplem.
