The Oven Control Board is an OEM part compatible with Frigidaire ovens and ranges. It is the main circuit board that controls all functions of the oven such as temperature settings, timing, display illumination, and modes like bake, broil, and convection. Note: This part doesn’t include the overlay piece. You will need to purchase the overlay separately.

Symptoms of a bad control board include:

  • The display not lighting up or working properly
  • Inability to change temperature or time settings
  • Oven not heating up or baking evenly
  • Unexpected buzzing or clicking sounds

Causes of a bad control board are often related to normal wear and tear over time. As a critical electronic component, control boards can malfunction even with light-to-moderate use of the oven.

It is compatible with Electrolux, Gibson, and Kenmore models with the same control board.

Daniel H for Model Number Kenmore Range

My kenmore Electronic Oven Control (EOC) has a part number of 316557118. The Bake indication turns on but the heating elements do not works. The broil mode works perfect. There is no fail indication in the display. There is no voltage output from the electronic control board when I select the bake mode. How can I be sure that the electronic oven control is the problem ? I would like to know if there is some device, other than the EOC, that can prevent the bake mode works ? Thanks

Hello Jerry. No, there is no adjustment. You need to check the voltage coming to the unit. If low, it can cause the issue with the unit.

Hello Gerry. Based on the information you provided, first pull your range out from the wall, unplug your range, then take off the back access panel and ohm your oven sensor. It should ohm out at 1100 ohms at room temperature. If that checks good, then your control board is the problem. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html

Tn tuttle, Here is the way to do an oven calibration for your unit. Oven Calibration * Press and hold Bake (upper oven or lower oven depending on model) for 10 seconds. * The current calibration offset (temperature adjustment) should appear in the temperature display. * Use the number keys (Up and Down arrows depending on model) to enter the desired amount of adjustment. (Up to 35° and down to -35°) * Press Self Clean to change the sign of the adjustment to a (-) if necessary. A positive adjustment will not display a sign. * Once the desired adjustment (-35° to 35°f) has been entered, press the Start pad to accept the change or the Cancel key pad to reject the change. **On some models: to calibrate oven temperature, press Bake. Set temperature to 550°. Press and hold Bake for 10 seconds.**
