Jetto December 15, 2014 What do I need ? My stove top still works and my light still comes on in the oven but my main control board want come on.... What do I need or is there a fuse on electric stoves ( Frigidaire ffb6-.... p/n 316441437) My model number is rubbed out.
1 Answer Hello Jetto. If there is power to the board, and nothing is working, you will need to order and replace the control board in the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Serena K November 09, 2014 for Model Number FFEF3018LBB I have a Frigidaire Ffef3018lbb. The control board shorted out and burned the connectors to the bake element and broil element. We purchased a new control board but the plastic 5 connector that hooks to it is burned. Can we replace it? I have been unable to find it as a listed part. Thanks!
1 Answer Serena, The part that you would need for the unit would be the main wire harness 316580275. The connector is not available as a separate part. Read More...
Daniel H September 13, 2014 for Model Number Kenmore Range My kenmore Electronic Oven Control (EOC) has a part number of 316557118. The Bake indication turns on but the heating elements do not works. The broil mode works perfect. There is no fail indication in the display. There is no voltage output from the electronic control board when I select the bake mode. How can I be sure that the electronic oven control is the problem ? I would like to know if there is some device, other than the EOC, that can prevent the bake mode works ? Thanks
1 Answer Hello Daniel. If there is no power from the board in bake mode, the board is bad. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Jerry B January 15, 2014 for Model Number Kenmore # 790.96011403 I just installed a new oven control from you #AP4587739 and the broiler element will heat up but very low. Is there an adjustment I can make ? The element has continuity.

Gerry December 16, 2013 for Model Number 790.96112408 The broiler element goes on when I turn the oven on. Also goes into a F10 code. Thanks, Gerry
1 Answer Hello Gerry. Based on the information you provided, first pull your range out from the wall, unplug your range, then take off the back access panel and ohm your oven sensor. It should ohm out at 1100 ohms at room temperature. If that checks good, then your control board is the problem. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Tntuttle December 09, 2013 for Model Number Kenmore range 790.94212400 I replace the oven control 316557118 and everything works, but oven seems to heat higher than set point. Is there a calibration procedure for the oven control? I seem to remember something about it in the instructions with the control, but have misplaced that paperwork.
1 Answer Tn tuttle, Here is the way to do an oven calibration for your unit. Oven Calibration * Press and hold Bake (upper oven or lower oven depending on model) for 10 seconds. * The current calibration offset (temperature adjustment) should appear in the temperature display. * Use the number keys (Up and Down arrows depending on model) to enter the desired amount of adjustment. (Up to 35° and down to -35°) * Press Self Clean to change the sign of the adjustment to a (-) if necessary. A positive adjustment will not display a sign. * Once the desired adjustment (-35° to 35°f) has been entered, press the Start pad to accept the change or the Cancel key pad to reject the change. **On some models: to calibrate oven temperature, press Bake. Set temperature to 550°. Press and hold Bake for 10 seconds.** Read More...
