Sherri March 18, 2012 for Model Number GLEFZ379FCD All of the burners work but the clock display is dead. If I replace the clock/timer Part Number: AP4510792 Manufacturer's Number: 316557205 would that fix the problem?
1 Answer Hello Sherri. Yes, if there is power to the clock, and the unit is blank, you will need to replace the clock assembly 316557205. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Jim February 12, 2012 for Model Number GLEF379DQG MY oven temperature is off. I measured resistance of the oven probe and found it to be 1065 ohms. I then purchased and replaced the oven control module and still have temp readings lower that set. What else could be wrong?
1 Answer Hello Jim. You need to measure the upper and lower numbers of the temperature and then add them together and divide by 2. This will give you the cooking temperature of the oven. If still low, you may need to calibrate the oven on the unit. Hope this helps. Read More...

Jacke January 07, 2012 for Model Number frigidaire electric range ES200/300 self cleaning oven with ceramic cooktop My bottom element stopped working. The top element heats up instead. I replaced the bottom element and that was not the problem. What are my other ideas that this is not working? I dont even use it that much so i'm shocked i'm having trouble with it. Could it be the ECU? Think that will solve my problem? I've checked the power cord to make sure all connections are tight etc. I haven't removed the back or anything. That seemed excessive. Please post your thoughts. thanks.
