For Frigidaire Washer Electronic Control Board (Part Number: OEM11660805)

Mark, Error code 90 is a group of error codes dealing with a communications error between the control panel and the main board. This could be an issue with the wiring or connections or one of the boards. You should check the wiring and connections and if this does not solve the issue you will need to replace one of the boards and if it still doesn't solve it replace the other.

Dale, Thanks for the question!!! There is no error code of 1 listed for your model. The best approach at this point would be to open the washer and look inside for your tech sheet. It has a diagnostics mode that will help identify the issue with your washer.

Christopher Early for Model Number ATF8000FE1

Hello. Came home from work one day and needed to wash laundry, loaded the washer started the cycle. Water turned on for about 3 seconds and shut off then came on again for another 3 seconds and shut off, (also does this on spin only with the drain pump). The tub will not rotate. Tested the motor appears to be fine, changed the motor board and still nothing. So the question I have is, What could cause this? I don't want to keep buying parts and have the part I buy not be the problem. Thanks for your time Christopher Early

Christopher, It would be recommended to get the tech sheet out of the unit and put it into a service diagnostic mode to see if there are any error codes. If there are it will point you in the direction of what may be wrong.

Hello Mike, This is a communication error. Check the wiring between the control board and the speed control board. If the wiring is bad, correct the wiring problem. If the wiring is good, replace the control board 137007010. If the problem is not corrected, replace the speed control board 5304504863.

James, You will want to check the door latch on the unit. If the door latch is not working properly it will cause the unit to not spin. You will want to check the following Remove the door lock assembly and measure the resistance of the PTC. Shorted or open. Defective door lock assembly. Reads around 1500 Ohms. Defective control board

Sam for Model Number ATF7000FSO

My daughter asked for help with her 7000 series washer. I used the trouble shooting tips and got error code E68. Ordered the heater part and went to the next town to install heater. We measured the resistance for 4 ohms prior to removal and compared both old and new and measured 14 ohms. Did not remove the old heater. Looked like the heater was ok so I followed the wires colors up to top right front and found the small control board 134558200 had come loose from the control panel face and knocked the spade terminals loose from the p c board. I repaired the p c board. Thank God for Radio Shack .I was able to get the unit working with some solder board trace repair , solder and a soldering iron. I will need to replace the board but noticed although it looks similar from my picture to yours, my part says electrolux. Any issues with the swap. And of course I will need to return the unused heater. Web page may need an update since it stated resistance should be 4 ohms. Thank You,
