Scooter July 27, 2021 for Model Number 25328099801 About two weeks ago we found our freezer was to warm and food was thawing. We moved the food and I tried to reset it on the panel, it would not do anything. I left it unplugged over night and the next day I plug it in. It started right up, after letting it run for a few hours, I noticed the temp had dropped but the lights were all still on. I opened the door and the light was on but then went off again and the freezer stopped working. Day I checked the volts at the plug and it has 119.7, the freezer will run sometimes but the panel has all the lights on and I have no control. What do you think bad panel?

Terrie December 05, 2019 for Model Number 25328712800 my display board just suddenly stopped working, red lights on, and does not respond to you touching any buttons. Repairman out and says it is the display board, quoted me a ridiculous price and said it is simple to replace. How do we replace it and what is the correct part to order?
1 Answer Terrie, you will need part number 297366203 for the display/control board in the color black. To replace it, unplug the freezer, use a flat putty knife and carefully slide it under the lip of the board and pry the board off. Aud December 27, 2018 for Model Number 253.28099803 Kenmore elite upright freezer My control on my freezer is not working. I have been checking the temp and everything is freezing allright so I am thinking it is just the temperature unit that is shot...Is this hard to install myself?
