Jbp November 02, 2011 for Model Number Part# 216649313 I need to order part #216649313 but in the picture, it doesn't show any wire coming out. I had to cut the wire to get it of the freezer but need wires to hook back up. Is it wired?
1 Answer Hi Jbp. You can use the terminals part # TJMA02589-1 and part # TJMA03018-1. Along with a crimper tool part #MA-30428 to reconnect new ends on the wire. You can use needle nose pliers to break away the side walls of the relay control to visibly see the center locking tabs on the original terminals. Use a pick tool to reach in and relieve the connector as you pull the wire off. Then use butt-splices to reconnect each wire together again. Butt- splice part # TJMA02522-1. Steve R. April 27, 2011 for Model Number GFU17M4AW4 I don't have a start relay but a controller. I have it off of the compressor. There are three pins and how do I know which one to check? Also I'm taking the controller down to an appliance store they said they can possibly check it out to see if its good or bad.

Steve R. April 25, 2011 for Model Number GFU17M4AW4 HI. This is the actual part # 216649313 your part # is AP2113686. This is not the original compressor, it was replaced about 3 years ago so. It doesn't have a start relay, but a controller and is there anyway to tell if it is bad.
