Dave-O December 07, 2017 for Model Number ffhs2311bla how do u get the filter out? and will the water flow out or not ??
1 Answer Dave, "To replace your PureSource 3TM water filter: It is not necessary to turn the water supply off to change the filter. Be ready to wipe up any small amounts of water released during the filter replacement. 1 Turn Off the ice maker. 2 Remove the filter by pushing on the end/face of the filter. 3 Slide the old water filter cartridge straight out of the housing and discard it. 4 Unpackage the new filter cartridge. Using the alignment guide, slide it gently into the filter housing until it stops against the snap-in connector at the back of the housing. 5 Push firmly until the cartridge snaps into place (you should hear a click as the cartridge engages the snap-in connector). 6 Press a drinking glass against the water dispenser while checking for any leaks at the filter housing. Any spurts and sputters that occur as the system purges air out of the dispenser system are normal. 7 After filling one glass of water, continue flushing the system for about four minutes." Bo Lu December 06, 2017 for Model Number frigidaire gallery refrigerator my Frigidaire gallery refrigerator water dispenser takes about 11 seconds to fill up a 8 oz cup. it is too slow to me. is this normal?
1 Answer Bo Lu, Under normal installation conditions, a refrigerator water dispenser usually takes 10 seconds to fill an 8 oz. glass of water. You need to maintain a constant 32 to 35 PSI, (minimum) water pressure at the refrigerator fill valve on the back of the refrigerator. The water filter will also "drop" the water pressure to the dispenser as it fills with the debris and sediment in the water, but it should take a while, depending on water quality. But you should check and replace the filter at least once a year to properly maintain the system . Read More...
Sam November 04, 2017 for Model Number FFHS2622MSYA Bought a new PureSource 3 water filter. Replaced it as directed in the instructions. Now when I press for water in the door it leaks everywhere until I press the control lock. It also prompts the ice maker to release ice into the inside door of the refrigerator, sometimes even crushed ice. This is all from the water lever, even once you let go of it. I've tried putting in the old filter back, does the same thing. I've tried turning off the refrigerator and back on, shaking all the water out of the filters and trying again, turning off the ice maker, everything I can think of. Can't seem to find anyone else with this problem online. Fridge Model # FFHS2622MSYA
1 Answer Sam, This issue sounds like it would be caused by a faulty dispenser control board. Changing the filter would not have caused this unit. Read More...

Darius Dawson August 07, 2017 for Model Number FFHS2322MWJA I hook up the water line and no water is coming out the dispenser or the ice maker not working. Will the filter cause this.
1 Answer Darius, When initially installing a water line on the unit for the first time you will have to hold a cup to the dispenser for about 3 to 5 minutes to get water to start flowing because there is a water reservoir that has to fill up along with water running through the filter. If you were just changing a defective hose then the filter could cause this issue. Read More...
Shannon July 06, 2017 for Model Number JBND-28 I placed my filter a couple days ago and the replace filter message still displays when I use the water and ice.
1 Answer Hello Shannon. The model number will have to be verified on the units I.D. tag since the one listed came up as the icemaker for the unit. This will be necessary to look up and specific parts such as the one you requested. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter. We will need your model number to help you with this.
