1 Answer Dusten, The freezer thermistor is located on the left side ceiling area of the refrigerator compartment. You will need to remove the control panel and controls from the ceiling, and the cover on the left side wall, Then you can remove the damper assembly and replace the thermistor. To remove the Control Housing Assembly, remove the three screws across the front control box and the two screws located in the rear control box. After removing cover over water line on front filter models, remove the screw from the back of the control box. Separate the two housings at the left back of the front housing by sliding the rear housing to the right until the buttons line up with the larger hole in the slots. Gary May 29, 2017 Frigidaire refrigerator is not cooling. When restarted, I can hear the relay click, and the compressor kicks on. But after a few seconds, it cycles off. The fan blows continuously, but obviously there's no cooling going on.
