The countertop installers said the black plastic plugs inside of dishwasher door jamb could be removed and to then drill a hole through the metal side and then secure dishwasher to cabinet side with a screw. This would not involve the use of a bracket. What is the Frigidaire proposed method to secure a dishwasher not using top mount? I have called Frigidaire's 800# and that only led me through prompts to local service people.

1 Answer Hello Aaron, This model does not have side mounting brackets available. As per the manufacturer, you will need to use 1/4 inch lag screws through the holes provided in the frame rails, (left and right) to secure the unit to the floor to prevent tilting when the door is opened and racks are loaded and out.
