The dishwasher is 4 years old, so I figured since it was leaking from the bottom, replacing the Tub Gasket PN: AP5690109, Splash Shield Kit PN: AP4338941 , and the bottom Door Seal/Gasket PN: AP5809675 was a good idea; the machine probably has around 1200 cycles in 4 years. There's no telling how much the door had opened and closed!? The bottom Door Seal/Gasket was badly worn, and the entire job took me around 30 minutes which included the detailed cleaning of the mating flanges. Take your... Read more

Seals the bottom of your dishwasher door to prevent water leaks during wash cycles. Replace if worn, cracked, or loose. Confirm fit with your model.
A quick google search lead me to the problem - the plastic door gasket had become loose and broken. Received the part very quickly and installed it that night after a little trial and error. What the videos don't tell you is that to properly 'seat' the gasket you need to angle it UP when you push it into the little gap. If you angle it up, it will catch and seat properly, if you just push it in normally, it won't catch on the right part and it'll just hang loose at the bottom of the door and... Read more
Replacement dishwasher rack assembly that holds dishes during wash cycles. Needed when original rack is rusted, cracked, or wire coating is worn.
To say using Appliance Parts Pros made things as simple as it gets, is an understatement. I was able to order the parts simply by using their website and having my dishwasher make and model number. Images of the parts make confirming the order even better. They have an on line question/answer cue if needed and even offer a call in for advice number. Once the order arrived, I verified the parts and began installation. Take a few pictures of the appliance from different angles before you start.... Read more
This is the upper dishrack assembly for a dishwasher, providing the sliding rack where cups, glasses, and smaller items are loaded for washing. It includes the rack frame and tine rows that hold dishes in place during the wash cycle. Replace this assembly if the rack is rusted, has broken or bent tines, or if the rollers no longer glide smoothly on the tracks.
Replace the sprayer in the middle of the dishwasher, the problem was the grommet on the back of it but it's not available individually. Read more
Fix a dishwasher that won't drain or makes grinding noises. This drain pump assembly removes water after each cycle. DIY repair in under an hour.
Step 1. Turn off water and power to dishwasher. Ours does not have any easy plug under the sink, so this was our first red flag that this was going to be complicated. Step 2. Unscrew dishwasher from cabinet brackets. 3. Dismantle the hardwired box underneath-2 wires, 1 ground. Step 3. Dishwasher would not come out of the cabinet far enough to remove. Step 4. Have a good cry because it's been over an hour now and the directions said this would be easy. Step 5. Use a wrench to detach the water... Read more

Filters debris from dishwasher sump to protect pump and spray arms. Replace if warped, clogged, or dishes aren't cleaning properly. Verify fit by model.
1. Removed and replaced circulation pump. That didn't end up being the whole problem, although there was debris jammed up in multiple sections of the impeller. Still was satisfied with results. 2. Continued trouble-shooting and discovered a lot of additional debris in the spray arm itself. Score! That resolved all performance issues. 3. In hind sight, I realized the strainer was warped and was allowing the debris to penetrate all of the critical areas. Ordered new strainer and it fit up flush... Read more

Dishwasher leaking or not filling? The water inlet valve controls water flow into your unit. Common repair for leaks at the valve connection. 10-20 min DIY fix.
Replacing the inlet valve solved the problem. The old valve was somehow clogged with white sediment. I probably could have taken it off and cleaned it out if I'd known, but replacing the valve was much easier. Took about half an hour to repair. Video walk through was extremely helpful. Great to have a working dishwasher again! Read more

This dispenser actuator lever operates the refrigerator door dispenser so you can dispense water or ice with a simple push. It restores proper button/lever response for convenient, reliable dispensing. What it does:
My husband expected we needed a new dishwasher but I insisted on trying to fix it first. You need a Torx screwdriver so make sure you have a set. A little difficult to get cover back on and lined up by myself, but I managed and this was my first attempt at major appliance repair. I replaced the entire console and the dispenser. Still working after 3 loads so my husband may have to eventually admit that I fixed it. Read more
