Done. December 31, 2018 for Model Number GLGFZ386FCD Oven and broiler does not lite, all other functions work
1 Answer DonE, Turn the control on to bake, check for 120 volts going to the bake igniter, if there is no voltage, replace the control board. If there is 120 volts, check at the safety valve for 3,2-3.6 VAC. Check from the yellow wire to the adjacent white wire, (bake circuit to neutral) Read More...
Jim August 12, 2017 for Model Number LGGF3043KFR How to remove the cooktop? I've removed the grill grates, the burner covers and the screws for the burners. But I'm having trouble lifting the cover. Are there additional screws or clips that need to be removed? The back is loose but not the front. Thanks for your help!
1 Answer Jim, There may be a couple of spring clips between the main top and the control panel at the front of the unit. You will want to check this and try to release them to lift the main top of the unit. Read More...
Peter W. July 29, 2017 for Model Number E36GF76HPS3 One burner won't ignite. No click at all from the igniter. What's the fix?
1 Answer Hello Peter, You will first need to use a small paper clip or safety pin to clear the burner orifice. If this does not correct the issue you may need to disassemble the parts surrounding the burner and lightly sand the pieces where the screws connect the parts together to re-establish ground to the burner base. At this point, if the ignitor is still not sparking, the ignitor and/or ignitor wire may require replacement. Read More...
Diane December 12, 2016 for Model Number PLGF390DCA One burner on my rangetop will no longer light unless I use a handheld igniter(like for a barbeque). The 4 other burners ignite every time. What part do I need to repair this (front left 2 5/8 inch) burner?
1 Answer Hello Diane. Try cleaning the burner and the burner cap on the unit. Dirty burners can cause the unit not to get a good spark and the flame will not ignite. Read More...
Greg May 15, 2012 for Model Number Frigidaire PLGC36S9ECA I want to replace my spark module with part No. 318079001 but I'm not sure how to open up this sealed cooktop. It looks like the only screws holding the top to the bottom are on the sides of the unit. Can you help describe the disassembly process? Thanks.
1 Answer Hello Greg. Turn off the power and the gas and remove the burners from the cooktop by removing the screws in the burners. Then you should be able to lift the cooktop off and access the igniter 808608804 and replace it. Read More...
