This mechanical cycle timer controls the sequence and duration of wash, rinse and spin functions in compatible top-load washing machines, restoring proper cycle advancement and timing. What it does:

  • Advances the washer through timed cycles so selected wash, rinse and spin functions run in the correct order.
  • Routes power to the washer's motor and valves at the right points in the cycle.
  • Commonly replaces timers that cause machines to get stuck on one cycle, fail to advance, or not complete a cycle.
  • Works with the machine's existing control knobs and wiring harness to restore automatic cycle sequencing.
What's included: One washer timer assembly. Install notes:
  • Disconnect power to the washer before beginning any service to avoid electrical shock.
  • Service typically requires access behind the console or control panel; remove panels carefully and keep fasteners organized.
  • Note and photograph wiring connections before removal; reconnect wires to the same terminals.
