Robert, you need to look at the drain pump assembly 137221600 first. Based on your post description, it could be clogged with a small article or the motor windings have failed(causing the motor to get hot) The timer is the least likely issue at this point. Thanks and Good Luck

Hello Kelvin. If you turn the timer to spin, and the unit does not spin out, you may have a bad lid switch 134101800. If the unit works on spin, just not on rinse, the timer 131758600 could be the problem. Hope this helps.
